Good

Comfortable bed. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Welcoming reception. Decent options for drinks at the bar. Nice pool area. Welcome card with info about the restaurant, bar, pool, telephone numbers to call (reception etc). We had an issue with the door handle which was almost hanging off. This was fixed very quickly by maintenance.

Wonderful

I had the best sleep. Everything was comfortable, clean, the staff is amazing.

You can hear everthing from the hallway. The doors are thin. You hear each person walking, talking, closing their door, the cleaning staff..

Great hotel and town when transiting through.

Great little town, clean hotel, friendly staff, brilliant restaurant across the road and safe. Highly recommend if getting off a ferry at Rafina and don't want to go to Athens. Call the hotel and get them to order you a taxi so you don't get ripped off at the Port.

The hotel restaurant was very "touristy" and quite expensive. Lots of places to eat nearby so I would suggest the restaurant cooks simple, good quality food and lowers their prices to compete with whats around!

Would definitely stay again if in the area

2 out of 3 couples received an upgraded sea view corner room - lovely views of the sea with a great balcony, very spacious room with comfortable bed. Snacks and drinks at the pool bar were very good. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool looked very nice however, the weather was not conducive to swimming when we were there.

The parking near the hotel was full so we did have to park our vehicle up a hill in their upper lot. The elevator is very small so if you are travelling with a lot of luggage you will need to make multiple trips.

Given that we were only staying for 5 hours as needed sleep after flight and prior to ferry I cheekily asked for top floor room with sea view if possible. It was delivered. Many thanks for meeting my request!

Nice stop-over or wonderful place to explore the area

if you arrive late at airport Athens and need to go to the islands from Rafina the next day, this hotel is very convenient. You can stay until your departure around the swimming pool or in other seasons in their cosy lounch.

Pleasant!

We had a room with a seaview and the panorama was superb. The room was spacious and clean and had all the facilities needed for a pleasant stay.

Unfortunately, although the hotel is large, it has a small, two-person elevator, that is difficult to catch. Also, in the room we stayed in the shower hose was pricked in several places and splashed in all directions when in use.

Nice Family Hotel close to the sea.

Mati Hotel has a nice location direct on the beach on a quiet road. We recieved an update to the luxery room with corner balcony with perfect seaview. Beds are very good. Restaurant and also Barservice is good price/quality. Nice Pool with beds (pool has salted water). Staff is very nice and professional.

A walk on the beach is nice... but the beach itself is rocky and very small. Hotel is well maintained but classic... bathroom in room is bit outdated. Family Hotel for local people.

Brilliant views and service

I loved how friendly and helpful the staff were, the location was beautiful the beach is a 30 second walk through the back by the pool. Was lovely talking my morning coffee down at breakfast and watching the waves. We got upgraded to a sea view room and the views were phenomenal! It's a shame I was only there for one night, I will definitely be coming back if I visit the area again.

The stay was OK.

Breakfast was very good. The room was good and the receptionist was very friendly. She send us a taxi to pick us up and was very nice and helpful. We wanted just a place to stay for the night as our flight was leaving the next morning. We just stayed in the hotel and have dinner and breakfast in the hotel.

As we arrive late, we wanted to check out at noon instead of 11am. It was not permitted and there was nothing else to do in the hotel so we just went to the airport.

Wonderful

Excellent views of the ocean and bay, great service at the restaurant and bar, large, warm pool, beach access from front of hotel, good food, wine and cocktail menu at oceanfront restaurant, large balcony with table and chairs, plenty of loungers and tables by the pool and oceanfront patio and comfy bed in a large room.

The shower was a little complicated but perfect otherwise at a surprisingly great price.

Mati Hotel Review

Beach/sea side view, beautiful big balcony, cold air conditioning, exceptional daily cleaning staff, beautiful pool deck and restaurant patio with great food and drinks. Delicious cocktails too. Delicious breakfast with lots of options. Not too far from the airport and very easy to find.

The toilet leaked water onto the bathroom floor. Room 511. Parking was a 50m walk up a dark alley to an unlit, unsigned parking lot. Noise from foot traffic in the hallway carried into the room quite clearly - thankfully we were near the end of the hallway.

Beautiful view to the sea. Clean and quiet room. Friendly staff.

Wifi hardly worked at all, neither in our room nor in the lobby. Very slow and patchy when it connected. Breakfast quality was poor.
